Nizhny Novgorod region will allocate 1 billion rubles to support business

The Nizhny Novgorod region will allocate 1 billion rubles to support small and medium-sized businesses. This was announced by the Governor of the region Gleb Nikitin.

According to the head of the region, additional amendments have been made to the draft budget for 2022. The funds are allocated to compensate for part of the interest rate of 5% on commercial bank loans received by small and medium-sized businesses.

"Another 45 million rubles are provided for stimulating import and export operations. All this will help maintain business activity in the region and stability in the labor market," said Gleb Nikitin.

The head of the region also noted that more than 80 million rubles will be directed to stimulate the production and marketing of products of folk art crafts enterprises. About another 19 million rubles will be incentive payments to young professionals, and the money will also be used to reimburse the costs of remuneration of mentors at the enterprises of the NCP.

Gleb Nikitin said that in the current situation it is important for the region to further support folk art crafts.
